Corporate Citizenship

Edward currently works as a Senior Researcher, supporting colleagues in all aspects of client work. Prior to joining the company and after graduating from The University of Nottingham with a BA in Management Studies, Edward worked for a short period in local government before travelling to Ghana where he worked as a volunteer on rural regeneration projects.

During his time in West Africa Edward became particularly interested in the positive role that corporations can play in majority world countries, particularly surrounding the issue of microfinance. Upon his return to the UK Edward joined Barclays Bank PLC where he spent the subsequent two years working for UK Banking Larger Business in the Technology, Media and Telecoms Team.

Whilst at Barclays, Edward gained considerable exposure to the Corporate Responsibility department and more specifically the ways in which Barclays responds to the challenge of financial exclusion. Edward’s strong passion for and interest in corporate social responsibility is what brings him to his current post within Corporate Citizenship.
