Megan leads our US office
Having grown up in a house where one of the family mottos was “no one can do everything, but everyone can do something,” my family and friends are not surprised that my career involves working on social and environmental issues. After graduating from Emory University, I worked for a nonprofit organization where I assisted businesses with recycling initiatives. Realizing that I did not want to be limited to only one issue, I pursued graduate studies in corporate responsibility at the University of Michigan’s Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise, and received a MBA and a MS in Natural Resources and Environment. Working on international projects in Croatia and Peru while in graduate school led me to Population Services International (PSI), a nonprofit organization working on health issues in developing countries. At PSI I advised our offices in Africa, traveling to the region several times, and established a service offering that developed and ran corporate employee HIV/AIDS education programs.
Since my passion is working with businesses on multiple social and environmental issues, I took a job in PricewaterhouseCoopers’ sustainability practice. Three years later when a position opened at Corporate Citizenship, I knew that it was the perfect place for me to combine my skills, knowledge, and passion to work closely with businesses to embed corporate responsibility into their operations in a way that creates business value.
