CSR in Action

This report, published by The Smith Institute, examines NGT’s acclaimed Young Offender Programme. The programme provides training and jobs for young offenders, and SMART was asked by National Grid to carry out a qualitative review to explore the reasons for the programme’s success. SMART interviewed representatives from all parties involved, including participants, prisons and contractors, and used the findings to discuss the future of strategic CSR programmes.
